Just a reminder to everyone that our Human-Hunter-Monster-Cannibal Kickstarter ends tonight at midnight (MST, anyway). And a quick apology for the tardiness of the very last lost episode of Monsters in the Dark . The Gévaudan was delayed several hours due to... I'm not entirely sure. Distractions? ADHD? We are so  busy! There's the Kickstarter , Gamealot (this weekend!), a livestream , and the Spooky Geeky Market  (Oct 26-27)! Not to mention my personal life (heh),  Gamer's Den every Wednesday, and Giles Tenderworth's Monsters in the Dark . October is a very busy month for Wild Dragon Games! The Human-Hunter-Monster-Cannibal Kickstarter does not appear to be going well, but I'm learning something new every day! It will remain live until the end of Halloween because that was the plan. If it succeeds, fantastic! If it does not, then I'll spend six to 18 months reworking it and launch again.  I'll name the cards and the shirts will vanish! You've been warned! I am in beautiful Montreal this week. There are many things I love about this city -- the greenery everywhere . The much-more-efficient public transit. The attitude towards speaking French. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. Nowhere is all sunshine and rainbows. (Some places try to come close.) But I like the general feel of Montreal. This week, I'll take some time to visit old haunts and friends... and visit every game store that I can. There are some very random places I'll pop up, but otherwise my schedule's somewhat full. Last week was spent very heavily on the Kickstarter. I got to the point where I said I was done, then I checked a few things and found out I was not . Several very long days flowed into the weekend.  It's been a month since my last post and my landscape has certainly shifted since then. #1: I have a Patreon! It is a quiet little thing, so far. And, even with only a couple weeks' worth of experience, has a couple errors to it. I need to fix those before someone actually joins. It's just been... crazy. Where is the Patreon, you ask? After months of roasting our game over a dozen or so fires, our first Printer-Friendly version is now available on itch.io.   This is, honestly, to create some income so that we can afford to make the fun things for the Kickstarter in September. It's also to increase awareness because awareness is good.   No need to explain things more than I already have, but what are our plans for this?   In the short-term, it's to make a little bit of money.   In the long-term, I'll likely have a $10 tier on Kickstarter for the digital version only. But, far more importantly, I plan on redoing every card (again) once the Kickstarter is complete in November. I will put the Kickstarter names on all the Human cards then. I will not add the Kickstarter-exclusive cards to the Printer-Friendly version. I will reduce the black to greys in all areas. I will redo those pesky border lines so they look better.
