Reminder: Spooky Geeky Market starts TOMORROW! (update!)

Edit! We've been moved! We're now at booth 35 in the middle of the event! Stop on by! (Map updated.)

The Spooky Geeky Market is tomorrow! (and Sunday)

Entry by donation, this is a great opportunity to see a whole slew of fantastic art and crafts before the Big Press of the holiday season hits us!

Starting at 10:00 in the morning, we will be at booth 72 in the back near the stage! We're not at booth 35 in the middle of it all! (Map below.) We'll have stickers, lanyards, enamel pins, buttons, and keychains  for sale and more! All based on monsters from Human-Hunter-Monster-Cannibal! Appropriate, no?

Our schedule!

    Saturday: 10 am -- 5 pm
    Sunday: 10 am -- 4 pm

I'll be joined by a good friend and another newly-minted Grant MacEwan University artist! I've still got Anna Sawan's hand-made goodies to sell your way and our artist will be available for sketches all weekend!

We will of course have our prototype for showing-off purposes, too!

Spooky Geeky Market is very cosplay friendly! Bring your Halloween costume out and test the waters! I think the organizers have a few bonuses for you if you do! (Don't quote me on that. I'll give you candy if you visit my booth, as a consolation prize if I'm wrong.)

Also, a quick reminder that the Kickstarter has only a week to go! This is your last chance to show any interest in the "Stand Against the Dark" t-shirts, and your very last chance to name a card! When this Kickstarter ends, those shirts and that name-a-card are gone. Drop a dollar! Every little bit helps!

Either way, see you at the Spookies!

Entry Number Zero: Mission Statement

I wrote my first post and realized something. That it was very unhelpful. It sucked. So you get this post instead. This is as close to our official website as we'll be getting for a while. So maybe a mission statement of sorts would be a good first step. This blog will be about my journey. My journey has, so far, culminated in Wild Dragon Games. I am Wild Dragon Games. Our aim is very simple: to make games. I know this is an over-simplification, but to say we want to make "quality" games, or "interesting" games is... redundant. It's obvious. So why say it? As to what kind of games, let's just say that I'm flexible. I have 20+ game ideas written down ranging from simple number-mathing games to complex 4X games and an even more complex time-travel-cliché-epic... thing . I have built five "functional" prototypes and one non-functional one. (This doesn't include the Candyland knockoff I made when I was, like, 9.) I think we...

Announcement: Human-Hunter-Monster-Cannibal LIVE on Kickstarter!

I have many faults. I have many weaknesses and fears. But I push through them and present to you--! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wilddragongames/human-hunter-monster-cannibal/ The "H" there is cut a bit. And poor Elizabeth Borden is basically hidden entirely. But that's fine . Human-Hunter-Monster-Cannibal, for those who don't know, is a trick-taking, hand-building game for 2-5 players designed from the ground up to be colourblind friendly. Take as much charge as you can of a 1450s village in the mountains or forest or desert and guide the spring festival that you might survive the monstrous conjunction. There are free stickers and shirts available for purchase, too. Stand with us against the dark. Back the game now and get it for earlybird pricing!  That's not everything, though. Are you curious about the monsters in our game? Where do they come from, how can they be avoided or killed? Join us for Giles Tenderworth's Monsters in the Dark , a series of...
